Visual Impact

This “authorable content” multimedia prompting system allows you to create custom picture, audio, and video based instructions for virtually any academic, work or independent living task. By creating your own training tasks, you employ the powerful capability of showing pictures of the end-user performing each step in their own environment while a familiar voice provides verbal instructions. Visual Impact is then used to access the step-by-step instructions by viewing pictures of each step while listening to the recorded audio instructions. Visual Impact offers great opportunities for self-direction in diverse areas, such as doing homework, preparing meals, learning to operate appliances, remembering housekeeping routines, or learning an assembly or other work task. In this multi-user edition, each Visual Impact user can have his or her own personalized training support system with instructions tailored for their specific needs.
