AbleLink Wins 2nd Place in U.S. DOT's Inclusive Design Challenge

July 26, 2022

AbleLink Smart Living Technologies was awarded a $700,000 prize as the 2nd place winner in the U.S. DOT's Inclusive Design Challenge. In a ceremony at U.S. DOT offices in Washington, DC, AbleLink was recognized along with the 1st place and 3rd place winners. AbleLink's award-winning concept, the WayFinder Ride app, is designed to give people with cognitive disabilities access to driverless vehicles. This technology, expected to be deployed around the country within the next decade, will provide on-demand transportation for a population that has too often been left behind when new methods are invented.
